More than a place to stay
During the summer, we present a free family-friendly musical program Tuesday through Saturday nights from Memorial day through the First weekend in August. These shows seek to entertain, inspire, and encourage church groups and vacationers alike. We encourage retreat groups to attend the concert each night, and we trust that our shows will enhance your group experience.
Retreat groups are a vital part of Noah’s Ark’s witness on Panama City Beach. We encourage all groups to participate in daily “Beach Ministry.” During beach ministry, we pick up trash from the beach, dispose of trash for vacationers enjoying the beach, and invite beachgoers to our concerts. Many visiting youth groups also do volunteer work around the Ark, at the local Rescue Mission, in area nursing homes, and in other agencies or homes in Panama City or Panama City Beach. The concerts, beach time, and mission work combine to create a meaningful retreat experience in which your group “retreats” for a while, then puts their faith into action through service.
Think you’d like to plan a stay with us?
Since we’re a mission outreach, our facilities are camp-like, with bunk beds or single beds in the sleeping quarters. You might compare us with a rustic mountain retreat, except that we DO have air conditioning, clean and complete facilities and, of course, we’re at the beach! All cooking utensils and dishes/cutlery are provided, and your group can prepare your own meals here, and there are also excellent restaurants nearby! Your group will need to bring your own SHEETS, PILLOWS, BATH AND DISH TOWELS. A staff member is assigned to each group to assist in planning recreation, beach outreach, and other activities. Group rates at Beach amusement parks are available for Noah’s Ark guest groups.
We are now scheduling guest groups with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 150 people. We encourage you to plan your visit for at least a 5 night stay. It is difficult to fully experience the beach and Noah’s Ark’s ministry in less time. However, we do accept groups for a shorter stays. Weekend retreats can also often be accommodated. Just ask!
