The young people who participate in Noah’s Ark’s leadership training program will have a life-changing summer. Through the life of the Spirit in us, we who work with them will challenge, pray for, encourage, empower, feed, house, care for, and love unconditionally the persons God brings to be the hands, feet, and voice of God in Panama City Beach. Starting where they are in their walk with God, we seek to help each person not only to experience God’s presence, but to allow God’s Spirit to live through them as they follow in Jesus’ footsteps in our context. As the old spiritual says, “99 and a half just won’t do! Got to get to a hundred!!” What we seek for ourselves and for those who will be known as “Two by Two” this summer is 100% availability to God, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Your support allows these young people to spend a summer in a community in which they learn to live every single moment for God as they are equipped, encouraged, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to change the world in the Name of Christ.
This is what the Two by Two program is all about. As we follow Jesus, embodying God’s presence and love in this world, more and more of our lives reflect the glory of God and the life of Jesus!
Please take time to prayerfully consider being a part of the ministries of Noah’s Ark by supporting the young people who will be the faces, voices, hands, feet, and loving heart of Jesus to thousands of visitors to Panama City Beach this summer.
Making our Summer ministry Happen
We bring together college students who will provide staffing and leadership in the areas of worship, facility maintenance, recreation, scheduling, mission work teams, witness/outreach, and teaching for hundreds of youth who will visit Noah’s Ark this summer. Our work schedule will be 7 days a week, 14-16 hrs a day, for 10 weeks.
Our students will receive spiritual nurture daily, helping them to apply biblical principles in every day and every moment of life.
They will work with and lead work teams and participate in various forms of outreach in the area. Each one will also help to promote the ministries of the Ark in our local resort community.
Through their time at Noah’s Ark, our student missioners will develop skills in public speaking, program development, marketing, and relationship-building with youth groups and their leaders; and in using music, lighting, sound, and other media in performance and communication.
They will receive on-the-job training in working as a team with each other, as well as in leading work teams, programming for youth, and working with adult group leaders.
